Restaurants & commercial kitchens
Your hood system may be overdue. Grease buildup, smoke, or an upcoming inspection can mean it's time to clean.
Grease buildup, weak airflow, smoke that hangs in the dining room, or a cleaning that keeps getting pushed past service. We clean the exhaust path we can reach - then quote hinge kits, filters, and the greasy floors around the line when they belong together. Commercial kitchen exhaust systems are subject to applicable fire-code inspection and cleaning requirements. We provide notes and photos of the sections cleaned; fire-suppression inspection and service stay with that contractor.

Once we’re in the kitchen
This is restaurant work. The hood is overdue, grease is building up, smoke or weak airflow is showing up on the floor, or inspection timing is getting close. We clean the parts of the exhaust path we can get to — hood, plenum, duct, fan, filters, and rooftop grease — and we can quote hinge kits, grease containment, and the greasy floors, dining room, and dumpster areas around the line. See When Does a Restaurant Exhaust Fan Need a Hinge Kit? if the fan is hard to open.
The cooking line, the exhaust path, and the greasy areas around them — quoted together when they belong together.
Who we work with

FAQ
Common questions
What’s included in a hood cleaning?
The accessible exhaust path: hood, plenum, duct, fan, filters, and rooftop grease we can reach. We’ll tell you if something can’t be accessed until hardware is added.
Can you work after we close?
That’s the usual window. Tell us when the line is down and how we get in.
Do you install hinge kits and grease pads?
Yes. Fan hinge kits, safety cables, grease-containment pads, and filter swaps can be quoted with the cleaning.
Is fire-suppression work included?
No. We clean the exhaust path and handle access hardware. Fire-system inspection and service stays with that contractor.
How often should a hood be cleaned?
There is not one universal interval. It depends on cooking volume, grease buildup, locally adopted requirements, and insurer or facility rules. We quote a visit or a schedule - we do not invent a required interval. See what gets cleaned during commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning.
What documentation do we get after a hood cleaning?
Service notes and photos of the sections we could reach. Unreachable sections belong in the notes. That is not a fire-marshal inspection or an NFPA compliance stamp from Wilke.
